Simple wideband extended aperture antenna-inspired circular patch for V-band communication systems

چکیده
This article presents the design and realization of compact, geometrically simple, wideband high gain antenna for V-band communication systems. The is designed by using a conventional circular patch, which further modified another fractal patch. Furthermore, addition three elliptical shaped patches significantly increases bandwidth antenna. Afterwards, slot etched from radiator to improve radiation pattern proposed structure comprises an overall substrate size 13 × 12 0.508 mm3 Duroid 5880 having very low loss tangent 0.0009. To verify presented results, prototype fabricated tested. comparison among simulated measured results shows strong performance.
